(New York, NY): Cross Contemporary Art presents Martin Weinstein · Looking Through Times, a solo exhibition of the artist’s most recent dimensional paintings on multiple acrylic sheets. Weinstein's unique practice of painting on flat transparent layers that are re-assembled inside of a clear enclosure, creates a deep and infinitely shifting space. In Looking Through Times, Martin Weinstein plays with optical illusions by reshuffling his painted panels and inventing dimensional ambiguities.
Martin Weinstein · Looking Through Times opens with an artist's reception on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm and remains on view through August 31, 2024. Located on the 5th floor of 80 White Street, New York, N.Y. 10013, Cross Contemporary Art Gallery will also be open during the First Thursday Art Walk on Thursday, June 7, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
