Anne Leith's paintings are created in response to nature. With her oil paints, easel and large boards, she ventures into the woodlands of the Hudson Valley to capture the light reflecting off water and filtering through tree branches.Leith uses the forest, waterfalls, clouds and streams as touchstones for her gestural brushwork in response to natue's rhythms .
